Crisis Line Volunteer: Connect2Help is looking for interested community members to help us with our suicide and crisis calls. Each volunteer will be provided with free training on how to help our callers and direct them to the level of care best suited for their needs. Our next 40-hour volunteer training will be held in June 2019. We will ask our trained volunteers to help us a few times a month, as it is convenient with their schedule.

NO EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED! Our training will give the crisis volunteers all they need to assess their callers, practice active listening, how to reflect empathy and how to provide referrals to meet the caller’s needs. Board Members: Looking to make an impact in the lives of Hoosiers?  Do you want to touch the lives of those in need of life’s most basic necessities? Connect2Help is actively seeking interested and qualified individuals to join our Board of Directors. Individuals with fundraising and management experience, as well as individuals with backgrounds in law or technology are highly sought. Board members advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, assist with leadership and the general promotion of Connect2Help so as to support our mission and needs. Board members have a direct and significant impact in how well Connect2Help is able to serve the people of Indiana.

Board members contribute, on average, about 4-6 hours per month attending board/committee meetings and other board-related events. In exchange for your time and passion, you have the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of people and know that your work changes lives every day. From our board members, to our staff, to our funding partners, Connect2Help attracts a remarkable group of compassionate and diverse personalities.
